This fall, we’re launching a nine-month discipleship cohort focused on spiritual formation for a small group of trusted, faithful Jesus-followers—people like you.
We’re not announcing this publicly (yet). This is a shoulder-tap invitation because before we invite the broader church into this vision, we want to start with a handful of people who are already helping shape the soul of our church.
So, here’s what the commitment looks like:
Weekly digital content with readings, practices, and personal reflections
Monthly in-person gatherings with intentional conversations about practicing the way of Jesus.
A one-time $75 fee covers your spot in the cohort, including all your books, digital resources, a personal notebook, and more.
How long will the monthly meetings last, and when are they?
Approximately 2 hours from 6PM-8PM at Connect Coffee. Meeting Dates:
August 31
September 28
October 26
Nov 30
Jan 25
Feb 22
March 29
April 26
May 17
What will the Weekly Digital Content look like?
We expect that the weekly digital content should take you about 2 hours/week to complete, or a bit less than 20 minutes/day. Here is a sample breakdown of what the content will look like:
Jesus & The Gospel’s Video 7: The Parables of Jesus
Gospel Reading: Matthew 11 & 12
Watch The Bible Project: The Parables of Jesus
What if Jesus Was Serious Reading: Chapters 37-42
Daily Prayer Practice
What if I can’t finish the 9-month cohort?
We can’t speak for Jesus, but this seems like something that just might send you to hell…but seriously, we know life happens. We’ll miss you and pray for the redemption of your soul.
What is the cost of the discipleship cohort?
Cost is $75. This will cover all of your books and online courses. Payment will be due by our first meeting on Sunday, August 31. If for any reason, the $75 is putting unnecessary strain on your financial situation, please let us know, and we will work something out.
Who will be leading the cohort?
You will need to endure the ramblings of Forrest and Jordan.
